ABOUT THE SERIES
The Cotswold Cup aims to raise the bar for unaffiliated eventing.
Every one of our qualifying venues must comply with a set of strict standards, meaning competitors can enter secure in the knowledge that they will be presented with an event run by a friendly and welcoming team, with good ground and the highest standards of both safety and presentation.
Every qualifier will provide the same prize money in addition to any other prizes they may choose to individually offer.
There will be 80cm, 90cm and 100cm classes at every qualifying event with a junior section in each. We are working hard to add a 70cm class to the Championships in the near future...
The Championships will welcome the top tier of competitors from the qualifiers. The same horse and rider combination collects points throughout the season for 1st – 10th placings. Or if you enter enough qualifiers and consistently jump double clear that may also be a viable route to the Champs!
We have secured substantial prize money (a £10,000 prize pot) for the open classes and exclusive training bursaries with elite event riders for the Juniors. Harry Meade, Laura Collett and Tom McEwen have all committed to supporting our bursary scheme offering our budding eventing stars the unique opportunity to train with a Senior British Team rider.
Entries and results will be available on this site in due course. Just follow the prompts when entries are open.
We are 100% confident that there is nothing at all like this on offer in the UK at the moment and we couldn't be more excited to welcome you to the series beginning in May at the stunning Waverton House.
